I just came back from Amy's 10th (and my defacto 12th) Yale reunion.
What I find interesting is that the simple fact of shared experice (ie going to Yale College) is so compelling as you get older and begin to realize just how lonely, big, and unsupportive the world can be.
I was surprised at just how warmly I felt towards my fellow Yalies.
I also saw how quickly the, sort of, anti-nepotism snobbery had completely dissolved into a sea of business cards pressing into peoples open palms.
